Cecilia Kwong-Murphy, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Cecilia Kwong-Murphy, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience and over a decade of expertise in functional medicine and hormone optimization. As a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and EvexiPEL Provider, Cecilia focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of health concerns while helping patients improve both their health and confidence.

Cecilia began her nursing career in 2005, later completing her Master of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner at Walden University. She further expanded her clinical expertise through advanced training with The School of Applied Functional Medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in root-cause medicine, advanced laboratory interpretation, and personalized treatment planning.

Cecilia’s clinical background spans multiple specialties including gastroenterology, medical-surgical nursing, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and medical aesthetics. She also has more than 11 years of experience performing neuromodulator and dermal filler injections, PRP and regenerative procedures, and advanced aesthetic treatments.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Cecilia specializes in functional medicine consultations, comprehensive laboratory analysis, hormone replacement therapy for both men and women, thyroid optimization, peptide therapy, and medically supervised weight loss programs using treatments such as semaglutide and tirzepatide. Her approach integrates evidence-based medicine with lifestyle medicine, nutrition, hormone optimization, gut health, and targeted supplementation to help patients restore balance and achieve long-term health.

Cecilia is passionate about combining medical science with personalized care to help patients look, feel, and function at their best. She believes in empowering patients to take an active role in their health while creating treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique biology and goals.

Cecilia lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband and is the proud mother of two college-aged sons. Outside the clinic, she enjoys Peloton workouts, weight training, and continuing education in functional and regenerative medicine.
